i have an 2005 KQ with maxxis 4x4 rims and 26x12 bighorns in the rear, when cornering somewhat hard they rub a little on lower black healguard fender area

I all ready put them on it i have not ridden it much since i put them on, i put them in a set of rincon rims and i used 1.5" HL wheel spacers in the rear, and 1" in the front. No rubbing so far. I plan on getting some holeshot atr's to put on my factory rims.

they shouldnt rub at all on the kingquad cause my dad has 26" on his, and they dont even come close to rubbing, and 27" is just a 1/2" highier(1/2 on top, 1/2 on bottom)

The quad looks good . I've always liked the King Quad .

I got a suggestion for you ... you can do it if you want , if not just forget about it .

Buy another one of those little red Warn holding straps that hook onto the winch , and rivet it to your front rack . Instead of having your winch hook all the way at the botton , you'll have it readily available at the top of your rack whenever you need it .

I've had my Grizzly buried so far past the winch that I would have had to dig through the mud to find the hook , but since I had it up top , it was hassle free .

Just thought I'd share an idea with you .

No problem about the idea .... just a little something to keep you from having to dig shoulder deep in mud someday .

I'm from Ontario .... northern Ontario ( about 4 hours north of Toronto ) .

The picture looks great . I have to snap more of my bike out in the woods .... I just keep forgetting to bring the camera everytime I go out .

Did you install a clutch kit when you put the 27s on ?? My buddy is curious as to how it performs with the larger tires .

i must have been thinking of another guy on her
no clutch kit, just stock, lost a little bi of power but not a whole lot ,still does whhelies very easy, and will still do dounuts on hot btop:devil: with them on it lost someoff of top end last ride with them on i was only able to get it up to 66, but i am sure it had more, had to slow down for a turn, and i am sure that since the speedomter was affected by the larger tires i was goin 70. i put wheel spacers all the way around so the only negative thing i have noticed it that at high speeds the front end has a wobble to it, almost like a car with unbalanced tires.
