what sprocket should i put on my 300ex to make it go faster but not take to much of my power away. or would you recommend something else for speed that doesn't take away to much power.

Put a 14T on the front.

I've heard that a going to a 14 tooth sproket will help in low end but will drop yuor top end. Is this true?

I believe that if you drop the tooth number in the front sproket, it gains more low end, but loses top. And if you raise the sproket tooth number, you will get more high end but sacrifice low end.

dantheEXman is right..... u will gain top speed with a bigger sprocket on the front , Smaller sprocket & u will get better lowend but top speed will suffer.

Deffinetely Get A 14T Sprocket & That Will Help Alot.... Cheap Mod For Better Tops Speed

ok then i guess i will go ahead and get a 14t sprocket. i am also planning on getting new tires soon. i have decided on the maxxis razr's but should i go with the 20x11x9 or 22x11x9?
