My 400s shocks are squeaking and they feel like they aren't near as absorbent as they used to be whats the matter i do jump alot on some pretty big jumps and were i ride is sandy are the seals gone :huh

how old is it? how much do you ride?
There probably just fading out like most stockers do. Thats pretty much the signs that it needs a rebuild (but they arent rebuildable).
So your probably gonna have to buy some aftermarket shocks (or newer stock shocks) to get the performance back.
If you get aftermarket shocks, DEFINALY get rezzys!

stockers normally dont fade that fast. But if your riding really hard and jumping alot they can. Ask you honda shop, and If they just try and sell you news ones without trying to help, then leave

I have saved up alot so i mite just have to buy some elkas:devil

My shovks were like brand new 4 months ago, now they bottom out on everything, o well to those shocks :p

it's weird, I had original 250R shocks on my R a while back, and they were very old shocks! They were stiffer than my ohlins rear shock that was valved for a 170lb rider (im 145lbs)!!!
maybe EX shocks fade faster?
