has anyone ever herd of someone putting a sport quad motor into a golf cart and making it in to a manual. i have a golf cart i would like to do that to but i would like to see some pics or at least get an idea of what i would have to do

I've always wanted to try that. If you can get your hands on a motor, and you have some good fabrication skills just go for it. The hardest part would be switching the quad motors chain drive into something that you could hook up to the U joint on the golf cart rear end. If you turned the motor sideways, it might be posible to make something that would bolt right to the sproket shaft on the motor, and run straight to the U joit. I don't know I'm just throwing out ideas here.

i checked out glamisinfo.com (4 sale section) and its not there anymore

but it has been done

if you do it your going to have to get a heavy duty rear end (gears) because my friend has a lifted golf cart and hes always striping hubs

I have seen sombody put a 440 snowmobile engine in a golf cart and that was fun.

there is one around here that i just saw at a car show with a street bike motor with a rear spoiler and wheelie bar. they drag it and say it runs over 100 MPH. Ill try to find pics of it.

When i was in Little Shara, I saw a golf cart that had like a CBR900 engine in it, all I can say is that i would probably kill myself if i had it:eek2:
