I keep blowing head light bulbs and taillight bulbs, i think i need a voltage reguator anyone else have any ideas and anyone have one.

before you go and start changing regulators check the connections in your harness. bad connections will sometimes give symtoms of a bad regulator.

just put a voltmeter across something on the electrics and try revving it up some , if it goes anything above 14v or so the regulator is shot .

not always the case ;)

how so ? the regulator is just that , only a couple diodes sending voltage over 14 ish volts to ground ..

true , then check the voltage directly from regulator to give best indication .
