if you're just starting out and want speed, get the honda two seater. its got a gyro so you wont flip and its scary fast.

the best comparison i can give of a stand up jet ski is to take the seat off of a dirtbike and ride it all day. they beat the hell outta you.

old standups are teh best! they can be built up pretty easily and are fun to ride.

but for a sit down, i say go with the Honda. It is awesome.

We bought a 3D last year I think its pretty cool. We don't have the bucket seat though but you don't exactly need it you can just sit down without it. The main reason I like it is because you eventually get bored riding it one way then you can just switch and ride a different way.

I've been riding jet skis since the early 90's and I guess I'm getting old because I wouldn't enjoy a stand-up because of the constant pounding ect.... I have SL 650 and that thing beats the crap outta me! Granted, I'm driving it pretty hard but damn:eek2: I would rather have the comfort, speed and power versus the constant pounding all the time! But, people are different! :D We bought a FX 140 last year and the thing is like a boat but it handles everything great, and over the winter I bought a RXP, all I can say about this one is the holiday weekend should be FAST a one:D :D :D

If you want something fast go with a Yamaha GP1200R- I topped mine out at 66mph last year on calm water- 60mph on rough.

The thing will smoke any new supercharged SEa-Doo out there...just bhe prepared to fork out some serious coin for gas! Im talking $100 for a day and a half

I'm not sure a GP1200 will smoke any new SC Seadoo out there:D

thats 69 mph on a stock speedometer right? Thats why those are called a "dreamometer" Try doing it with handheld gps.

I actually raced two sea-doos at the same time. It was a father and son...and I beat both of them equally
