Is the dealer the only place or will places like walmart have them?

Get them from Marcum's ATV-1-877-264-3409.
They sell them for $1.99
I buy them 10 at a time, so I don't have to order them as often.

yea u can order them pretty cheap from any part dealer but i dont think walmart will sell them mayb any place that sells k&N products should have them

You should be able to go to any parts store and get the filter. Fram makes a filter for it. I forget the # but you can look it up in their book, it is the same filter for the XR400. I don't think the book lists atv's.
If Fram isnt good enough for you then have them cross reference from there to the brand you like.

stp oil filters from auto zone are 3.99 the part # is smo-15
I would check out www.notoil.com.

I get mine from www.rockymountainatv.com
I use the EMGO brand at $2.33 Ea. The Honda ones at the local shop are $5.95 Ea. and look identical to the EMGO brand. I think I read somewhere that they are the same exact filter just with a different name.
