sparks pipe broke on bottom bracket please help

i was riding yesterday and my pip was sounding funny and i looked down see that the bottom braket broke of no wat to do should i re weld it or weld lil peice of sheet metel over itand just have the top braket

so what your saying is that, where the bracket broke off there's a hole in the pipe?

show us a picture...not sure what the bracket looks like :confused:

I would weld the bottom bracket back, if not your top bracket may not be strong enough to support it for very long and also end up breaking

Heres a picture of the gusset I had on mine. Just being butt welded the way they are isnt strong enough.

I had this same thing happen to mine last weekend, ive sent it back to sparks but b,c mine actually fell off and got ran over and is now FLAT!! They said theat it woudl be $330 for the muffler and all if they wont sell me just that piece, so check the classifieds i might have a sparks headpipe for sale if they dont call with good news.
