250r fast??

Ive never ridden a 250r and let alone seen one around where i ride...fast do they accelerate?? like what are they comparable to? I am really close to buying one....ive downloaded some movies on them and they look extremly quick..is this true? and are they fun to ride or is it all work?

the 250R is very quick, and its a blast to ride. There is nothing like the hit of the powerband on a 2-stroke. They will kepp up with anything out today. You won't regret buying one trust me.

a stcok 250r is pretty quick but wont keep up with a 450, but how many stock ones are there? not many, they keep up with the 450's, modded, they beat them

250R's are a blast, and are def. a great quad. Its a little work untill you get used to keeping it in the power band if your not used to riding 2 strokes. It depends on what kind of riding you plan on doin. For trails, I would recommend a 450 or something of the like. But if you are just into goin fast, or if your wanting to race, then a 250 is a good choice as well, esp. if you don't mind workin a little. I do have the tendency to beat one now and then on my 450 though.:D

a 250r is nearly as fast modded as any 450, woods and mx, I would go with a 250r. You can get a modded 250r complete race setup for about 5g's, you can't even buy a decent setup 450 for that. But beware the 2 stroke is gonna require some mechanical work on a regular basis, in realitity about the same as a 450.
