Me and my neighbor made a lawn mower like the ones in that video. It would do 40 mph and it even won our high school homecoming car decorating contest. I will try to find a pic of it.

haha i had one last year, my uncle gave me an old craftsman. it was from the 70s it had the motor in the back. i took the deck off it and we went woods riding through mud and stuff. we took it on a rock crawl back in the woods, i let some air outta the tires so it would grab the rocks better. after about 15 min of crawling one of the rear tires sliped off the bead so we had to pull it 5 miles out of the woods. once we got to the road my buddy towed me home behind his bayou 250. it got pretty crazy i was sittin on the mower to stear it home as he towed. he got the great idea to go fast. i though my neighbor was gonna die from laughing when we went around a turn doin about 35, i was tring to keep it from sliding out but the tire that sliped the bead came off the wheel and i was ridng rim around the turn. i was told it was sparking as i slid side ways. i was lucky enough to not roll it. we got it home put the tire back on and went back to the woods. to get to the woods we have to drive about a mile on the road. we accually got pulled over on the way there. the cop gets out and comes up to me and asks ware im going, i just told him i was mowing grass up the road. he looks at the mower and asks me how i mow with out a deck. so i just told him i broke a blade and left the deck there, he let me go and we got to the woods and did some riding. we put that mower through hell. it was chain drive so mud didnt make the belts slip like most mowers so it just chugged through mud until the tires built up with mud. we ended up blowing it up after the 3rd day, it still ran but it sprayed oil like crazy that old thing made it home on almost no oil. i think i had more fun on that thing than my 400 sometimes.

My grandfather has one of these in his backyard, he asked if I wanted it. Anyone know anything about it?

We got our pullys at the local hardware store. You install them underneath the lawn mower, just mess around with the pulley sizes until you find a combo that you like.

They are custom built. They use briggs motors and the cassis is custom built. Pretty quick, as you can see.

put a quad carb on it, and build a turbo out of a old blow dryer, and striagt pipe it and re-jet. It will go like a raped grape.
