Ive seen some people changing their rear shock on the 300 ex and replacing it with the raptor shock.. does this change the overall height of the quad or is it just a better shock? Also will 400 ex front shocks fit on my 98 300 ex without any problems? Any Help would be great!!!

do a search on the 400ex shocks, this has been debated many times.i run the 400ex a arms and elka shocks for a 400ex on mine though.not sure of the raptor shock but i have a modded 350x shock with a 450r swinger setup on mine.

The raptor shock bolts right in and yeah it does lower it a little bit. Feels great though and gives you a lot more adjustment. Hope that helps.

to clarify, the 400ex shocks won't just bolt on to your 300ex...you need the adapter bracket, and 400ex a-arms and tie-rods...still, all the parts can be found pretty cheaply and its a great inexpensive mod, well worth the effort
