where is the acceleratorpump

im adjusting or trying to adjust my accel pump, where is it and how do i adjust it......please help,,,,, oh sorry its for my 06 450r

it should be on the side of the carb where the throttle cable is. i dont have a 450r, but on my yzf250....it has a FCR carb....there is a black plastic cover on the right side, as you sit on it. there is a wheel looking thing that the throttle cable is attached to and behind that there is lever which pushes another rod that activates the accelerator pump. this rod should have an adjustment screw, possible with a spring, you can turn that will engage the rod sooner or later as you give it throttle.

on your throttle cable side of the carb at the bottom,you'll see a small cover with 3 screws,theres a rod that goes into that.thats your accell pump assembly;)

he is right, thats what that is. but im pretty sure that not where you would adjust it from.....:ermm:
