I tore off the bottom of my oil tank and ordered a new one. Is there something like anti-sieze or rtv silicone to help with removal next time. I am concerned with anti-sieze working its way up the threads and into the oil that lubricates the engine, this may be bad i really don't know.

Anti seize wouldn't hurt. You don't need to"glob"it on,a light coat will work just as well. Also make sure you are tightening the bolt to the manufacture recommended torque spec.

Roger, when you get inside the engine and anywhere on the quad, really, you need a torque wrench. I bought one for 50 bucks that goes from 10 ft. lbs to 80 ft. lbs. It is a craftsman.
