Round#5 of the Atlantic Grand Prix Series Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday June 17 and 18 at Thunder Ridge Motocross Park in New Berlin New York!

Minicycles and Motorcycles race on Saturday June 17
Youth and Adult Quad Races on Sunday June 18.

The Atlantic Grand Prix series is going to New Berlin, NY on the weekend of June 17 and 18. This is the same town that the Unadilla MX track is located.

This course is awesome and will surprise a lot of people after riding the NA WarHorse location the last 3 events.

This course is a combination of natural terrain Motocross with a fast woods section and Euro style grass track. Seeing is believing, but if you ever wanted to ride Unadilla this might be your chance other than the GNCC.

The adult cross country course for both Quads and Bikes is about 8 miles in length. The terrain is a 100% DIRT!

Also if you have friends that don’t want to race, but would be interested in being a course worker for the day, We invite them to bring there Quad and we’ll give them a green vest and they can go up on the course with their quad and lend a hand as well as watch the event up on the mountain.

Any hotels/motels in the area? I plan on being there, but I am not sure I want to camp or not.

I'm working on the list now, but any Hotel around Bainbridge or Sidney NY would work. That's right off of RT 88 or 28 and RT 8.

I'll have a list shortly.

there are a few hotels about 15 minutes or so before unadilla. we stayed at the holiday inn last year for unadilla, was pretty nice. had a nice bar downstairs too.

i live about 15 minutes fomr this track so i think this would be a good time to get into my first race.. i have a stock 03 400ex what are some thigns i absoultly need for this race, do i need nerfs and tether cord..?also what class would i enter into. its frist race and i am 16 yrs old thanks

Yes, you need a tether kill switch.

Nurf bars? No they aren't required, but I like the idea of something under my feet other than foot pegs.

Helmet, Goggles, long sleeve shirt, long pants. boots over the ankle and gloves, are all required.

You the rider are responsible for the mechanical condition of your machine...if we see something un-safe we won't let it out on the track.

Me...I always wear as much safety stuff as possible, Good MX boots, Knee guards, quality full-face helmet and goggles. Chest protector with shoulder protection. Kidney belt. A good vented jersey. Good baggy pair of motocross pants, but the new free ride stuff is really nice. Also good pair of MX gloves and tape up the palms of your hands so to prevent blisters.

Class...First Year Racer or 2 and 4-Stroke (16-21)

alright thanks for the help jsut a few more questions, when you said over ankle boots does that mean i coudl wear some work boots i dont knwo if my riding boots will be here by then, and also right now my bike has the stock exhaust with spark aresstor taken out would that be ok to run or is a bike required to ahve one?
