the best pipe on the dynos is the rossier.

Wrong..Ever heard of DASA?

Threres graphs all over of it smokin the Rossier. I have one somewhere as well. Good 2-3 HP increase across the board.

i actually was gonna put the dasa on there, cuz they are two of the best exhausts for the r, but i just couldnt remember if the dasa or the rossier was better. thanks for pointing that out for me.

I didnt mean to come across like a jerk. Sorry about that. Cant go wrong with either pipe. On our builds, the DASA just do better.

That and I cant really come to terms with the Rossier lacking the bottom end that I like.

DASA and Sparks BC are hard to beat for bottom, and the DASA just keeps pulling.

I have heard and seen alot of good stuff on HMF also. Has anyone ran the new Ironman HMF yet? I am lookin for a pipe but don't like the sound of the Rossier. Leanin towards the HMF but I'm curious.

i'm actually leaning towards the rossier bacause it seems to make real good power(the dyno curves i've seen only put it about .5 hp shy of dasa), and it's real quiet with the supertrapp end. the rw pipe seems to beat 'em all on the dyno but that pipe sticks way too far out the back and make sure you have ear plugs 'cause it's loud. it doesn't have a sparky either so don't burn down the forest.

another plus with the rossier is it looks bad-arse in black!

i guess any good aftermarket pipe would be an improvement over the stock '04 can though.

i would not get the rossier for sure. the bottom end sucks in my opinion and is ok at best in the upper rpms. i am trying a ron woods pipe. i know it suffers low end but it has killer top end power. i will give it a shot and if i dont' like it i will sell it. i would run a hmf over the rossier. the hmf has good bottom end power. if i buy another pipe it will be a dasa.

I dont even have the big core in mine and my R is a monster.
Most think it has ton's of bottom end since it comes off the line so hard. It doesn't, it has to be reved up then it pulls right to the limiter.

Modded R, alot of people my way run the big gun pipes and love them. I haven't heard a whole lot about the new ones, but the old ones aren't bad. I think alot of people don't think much of them because they sell really cheap, and they assume that they are poorly built and they are a bad pipe. I've heard more good than bad, and if your lookin for a cheap pipe than the big guns aren't bad. They don't put up huge numbers, but are a deffiate improvement over stock and sound killer in my opinion. The brand new DG is supposed to be a decent pipe too, its also got a low price tag.

I've heard of lotsa big guns at least the old runs falling off and rusting easily i heard they weren't very good... but these dasa pipes sure sound nice i would like to get one when i get rid of my yoshi...
