you cant go wrong with either one.
both systems are extremely loud and probaly make same amount of power.
the hmf doesnt cost as much

Sparks....just bought full system for my 06 YFZ and buddy just boutgh HMF Natalie edition full system for his 06 YFZ..I like my Sparks a bit more (of course its mine) but it seems a bit smoother, has more mid to top end then HMF. Plus Sparks Jetting specs are spot on...The HMF specs are a bit rich, but nothin that cant be adjusted. Id say its your preference..both good systems, HMF has some color and carbon options to if your into that...Either way you cant go wrong..

I love my Sparks on my 300ex. It sounds awsome and it has so much torq. Never had a problem with it ever since I brought the machine almost a year ago. I can't tell you how much of a increase there is over stock though because I havn't had a stock pipe.

I'd go sparks their both good pipes and sound good, but the Sparks is a deeper sounding pipe. Just my .02

not trying to change the subject, but i'm wondering if you guys running HMF's would recommend the Sport exhaust or the ballance pro for running a MX track?? the more i read it seems that the Sport would be better especially in areas like coming out of corners and such...or do you think there would even be that much difference??

Depends on the ATV.
For example, the HMF full system for the 300ex is $100 more than the Sparks x-4 full system.
Either exhaust is great. Can't go wrong with either one. I'd say look at the price for both on your specific quad, and go with the cheaper of the two. ;)

jal232 brings up a good point, different pipes will bring power in different parts of the powerband (low, mid, high), my Sparks X-6 is a great top end pipe, but with all of my other components on my motor, I need a low end pipe, so I bought a TC Racing pipe (FOR THE TRACK ONLY!!!!!!!!!), I think this will work nicely with my other mods to "smooth" the powerband out.....

I have a HMF on my 416ex, it is not as loud as I thought it would be. My dads C-dale is loud i think 102DBs! but it came with a Silent core that you can put in. My GFs KFX has a HMF and that really brought it ALIVE! I raced a stock LTR with the KFX and the race was Neck and Neck the whole time.
