I have an 06. I just started having a problem, when i am in 2nd gear it pop's out of gear for no reason? Just wanted to know it any one had a problem like this.

What causes that to happen? Hitting the shifter too hard? Shifting w/o the clutch?

Must really beat the **** outta that tranny to bend a shift fork.Unless u got a weak one!!!

im not sure what causes it but its kind of common. I think some are just weak

My MX bike tranny is so screwed up my it wont even get out of neutral....So now i have to ride my XC bike at MX races

mine does the same 2nd gear miss that LoneRacers...how do i fix this? it has nearly killed me a few times now

My 450r is 4 days old and it already popped out of 3rd gear on me twice.
It feels like its dropping back into 2nd, the last time it did it, it made a nasty grinding sound for a second.

Did it while I was shooting down the power lines, accelerating kind of hard.
