I have been looking for a big bore cylinder and have been sent an offer on an ESR 330 Bolt on cylinder with v force Reeds and TRX-6 pipe.

Is there anyone who is using this setup that can tell me how it compares in power to other kits.

Will it make enough power to run with the new 4 strokes?
How is the reliability?

What do you think would be a good price to pay?

Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.

That is a very good setup to run. The 330 makes alot of power and with the matching pipe it will be even better. make sure your bottom end is in good condition..........

my little honda 250r beats yamaha 450, but not the honda 450's..

thats with a stock cylinder ported/polish, carb, pipe, no cool head.

a 330 should blow just about any 450 away.

right?

yes thats right

If you run that setup with a 39mm pwk carb itll be beautiful

beat the yamaha but not the honda? the yfz is faster than the trx 90% of the time just thought that was wierd , Ohh ya a esr 330 will smoke all the new 4 strokes when done right

Ditch the trx 6 pipe and cage and take the 330.

find a curtis sparks big bore mx or tt pipe, or order one when they start there run for the 2 stroke pipes.

right now i run my curtis sparks TT pipe and i know its corking up the motor.

get a cr250 rad valve, and later on you can port it, which i plan on doing when i resleeve the motor.

my 330 is a cast port job, i have not ported it yet at all its bone stock and I was killing worked yfz's and trx's

I really believe the 330 is the perfect balance of torque and hp and most of all reliability.

im on my last bore which makes it right around 330cc. im going to resleeve it and port the cylinder and the rad valve
and slap it back together and go out to glamis with it and spank all those damn four strokes that were pulling me once we all got past the whoops up olds hill but hey that was my 265 and they were worked yfz's and trx's so it wasnt a slow motor by any means.

believe it or not most big bores are way more fuel efficient then 265's but if you romp on the 330 you can suck the gas down real quick, as i found out quick when we were drag racing for 2 hours lol
