ok i have a 02 400ex thats bone stock...i just put on a k&n filter, bought a bracket that completely gets rid of the airbox and put in the stage 2 dyno-jet kit with a 165 main.......for some reason the top end doesnt seem to be there like it was b4.....i ride mostly at Pismo beach and a few other places below 5k ft......should i go down 1 size main n see what it does or up one???????????

go down to lean it out a little bit. The leaner the hotter it runs and more power the richer you go runs cooler but weaker.

I have a 160 with no airbox lid,pipe,and K&N with outerware. and it still seems a little rich, I would try a 155 with the needld clip one notch richer than stock.
