compression on a 300

anyone know what the stock compression is for a 1996 trx300 ex? im thinking about getting a wisco piston and wisco rings but i dont know what compression piston i should get. The only thing i have done to it is air filter, jets and a pipe. any help would be nice, thanks.

Im not sure wat the stock compression is but an 11:1 compression wiseco will be a good piston for you. The higher compression ratio makes more power across the board

Get the Wiseco 11.1 compression pistion. Any higher you would need to run race gas.

And also I believe its a nine compression pistion but don't mark my words.

the stock compression is 9:1. i would go with an 11:1.

i have never heard of any one blowing up a 300ex. They are supposably bullet proof.

11:1 you can run pump gas, im running 12:1 on half 110 have 93 and its awsome:chinese:

If you have everything correct and brake it in correct you shouldn't have a problem. Just remember its not a two stroke. Take it easy with them.

Sorry for the delayed post.. but the 300ex is in fact 8.9:1 static compression from the factory.
