i need new ratiator hoses for my 250r, dont want to spend 120 or whatever it costs for replacments from aftermarket companies. ive seen people run clear hoses that look like they bought them from a hardware store, the ones that have fibers braded into them. just wanted to know what size and strength to get, i really need new ones and i know someone knows what kind of hose to use. thanks for any info, -Corey-

those clear braided hoses are really strong, well at least they can hold pressure. temp....hmmm:rolleyes:
how hot does the coolant get...cant be over 300 degress, right?:(
anyhow, the hardware store should have a hose that can handle that temp.

Is there any reason in particular that you don't just go to the local auto parts store and buy some heater hose that is the correct diameter?
It will obviously hold up to the temp and pressure, and it's cheap.
