I just moved to Santa Barbara, so where's some good nearby riding areas? I'm going to my brother's wedding in Pismo next month, I'll definitely have a quad with me. But where else?

Welcome to S.B.
I grew up in Goleta back in the day
when they had a motocross track
we could ride on the beaches
the mountians had all kinds
there were all kinds of open space
but than the L.A.'s and tree huggers
moved in thats when I moved because
I could not afford a track home for
$800,000 plus so I went to Lompoc
where they were $95,000 and the
town reminded me of Goleta I have
the Santa Ynez river right next to my
house and we ride there Daily
So back to your ? no there is not
much riding there go to the Desert

Gorman/Hungry Valley is pretty good, there are also many places in Mojave, off the 14 fwy: Jawbone Cyn, Dove Cyn, Red Rock Cyn, Cal City, which now has a track: www.calcitymxpark.com , El Mirage, and even locally in my 'hood, Palmdale. I lived in S.B. late 80's. I worked in a Auto Resto shop, on Reddick, off Milpas. I lived off Laguna St, not too far from the S.B. Mission. Anyways, you can google those places, which will probably lead to more. Good Luck!
