not sure if this is a repost or not but... this guy invented a cutting torch that uses electricity and WATER to cut threw stuff. then he rigged a car to run on the same type of setup. not sure when this guy found all this out but a car that runs on water sounds nice to me and it gets astounding gas mileage. says hes desiging a military hummer for testing. pretty cool i think, check it out.

Wow...thats pretty crazy

The idea of a vehicle running on h2o just makes NO sense to me...

EDIT: Edited the post, didn't watch the video before I posted

how come?

thats the cool,,, it makes sence, a H2O bomb makes a crazy shock wave and its more powerful than a atomic bomb, so thats a really good idea

OMG THATS THE BEST INVENTION SENCE HONDA ATVS!!!!!

well i will have to wait untill i get home to watch the vid, but you said it uses electricity right? where do you think the electricity comes from, im sure some may come from wind mills, those hydroelectric dams, and nuclear power plants, but alot of electricity still comes from burning petroleum. so technically the car is still running on petro... right?

I think you mean a H bomb not an h2o bomb

They dont make electricity with petroleum!!

Didn't watch the video but it's not a new idea. You use DC current or AC(in a certian way) and you split the H2O into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen is very explosive and you need oxygen to burn. So they get split up, then exploid then and they go back together making water again with some loss.

It's just hard to get them split up enough to run and the initial start with so much electricity.

I agree, the government always wants to tax something.

chinas public buses have been running off this for a few years now so he didnt really come up wit hthe idea. the govt. is gonna shoot this down im sure because it will be hard to tax and they will lose a fortune

I agree I imagine the government is very dependent on fuel tax, and with all the aftermarket stuff they would be SKA-ROOD.

i didnt watch that video, but i know alot of hydrogen cell engiens rn on dirty water and when its all said and done the water comes out 100% purified.

im pretty sure its not just hyrdogen gas, you can make hyrdogen gas(actualy we did in like 7th grade) at home.

They mention the flame is warm to the touch bun when you touch it to ceirtain surfaces it will rise to the temperature of the surface of the sun in a few seconds.

This is pretty new especialy in the application it was created in, cutting torches...

because someone asked, i dont have/remember the exact way we made hydrogen in the classroom, but this is another way i just found.

The same process as shown below was used by us except our teacher had it set up with tubes that would collect the hydrogen. The process with salt, and a battery is the same thing.

Which 450?

Well if he broke down H2O.... Hydrogen is flammable, and needs oxygen to burn. I think its completely possible, but how would the govt rape us? Would they charge us extra if we had more rain then avg per quarter?

wvspeedfreak

Then someone can invent race water and charge extra for that :D
