My buddy has an 05 YFZ 450 and I heard that If you Retard the Exhaust cam timing 1 tooth that it is supposed to give it a better performance curve. Has anyone done this?

Yes it works search the net for the "cam mod" and you can find instructions with pics and even vids.

Go to YFZCentral.com and do a search on "Cam mod". There is even an instructional video and plenty of pics for you. Makes it so much easier.

I've done the cam mod (using those pics) and it was very easy and the results are great. You can definately tell a different, it's a much more aggressive.
