FMF Power Bomb header just snapped off????????

Hey,
I was riding my TRX450R and the header just snapped off right from the engine?? Has anyone ever had this happen?? I'm not very happy because it has only been on my quad for like 2 hrs of use and it was $700!! Anybody know if FMF will replace it??? Thanks,

Well It happened to my friend's 05 450. They want you to ship it back to California so they can weld it for you, otherwise it voids any warranty. This is BS Because it has happened many times with these Junk powerbomb headers. Take it to a welding shop and have them weld it for you. I dont think its worth the wait to get the piece of **** welded anyway.

Ya thats what I was gonna do. I can weld it but I figured if they would send me a new one then i would have another one but whatever. I would have thought that FMF would have aneal the welded area after it was welded so it would temper the metal and not BRAKE:mad: Thanks for letting me know im not the only one with bad luck. lol:)

Just out of curiousity, where did you get it that you had to spend $700 on it??? Go with HMF or Rossier. You can't lose.

I actually didn't get it for 700 the guy that I bought it from said it was $700 so im not sure.

All the ones I've seen go for around $200-$250. Oh well though. Good luck getting it fixed. If I had to guess, I'd say that FMF will just reweld it and send it back rather than giving you a new one.

No I mean the power bomb header and it also has Factory 4 exhaust so both were 700 i guess
