Alright so i finally got some new bar. Ive been ridin with slightly bent bars on my 400ex and we try straightnen them but I only made it worse. So i said forget it and purchased some renthals with spider grips. Alright so do i need any adhesive to put the grips on the bar. It says not to but says if required, use adhesive. Whats the deal. Also, the pic below has the plastic covering that goes over the stock bar. I cant remove the philips screw inside with out striping it( I kinda already did). Can i cut off the plastic with a box cutter and some how remove the screw besides unscrewin it. I would appreciate the help...THANKS.

Yep, I think mines the same, but if not you could cut it off and then heat up the screw and see if that helps...

But you don't need to use adhesive unless they are slipping... But I just put some duct tape on mine and works fine.

i have found that the 60 second clear 2 part epoxy from the auto parts stores works great for glueing the grips on.they dont move or come off.
