alright my quad wont idle unless i have
the hotstart held in or choke on??? got any ideas??

I would clean it and turn the idle up a lot.

turn it up a quarter turn and it should be fine

I turned mine up 1/2 a turn off the showroom floor and it is perfect. Better starts and no more stalling in the woods.

its not tht when ever i let out the hotstart the quad stalls... i alread tried the idle... im try to clean it

When you hold the hot start in it lets more air in the carb which creates a lean mixture. So looks like u need to go a little smaller on the main jet or mess with the air/fule screw.

ya thats what i was thinkin, just wasnt sure on if it made it leaner or richer, hardly ever use mine

yup makes it leaner. mine works like a champ usually when mine gets hot takes 2-3 kicks without the hot start. hold in the hot start it takes 1 kick.

mines 1 kick nomader what, sept for when its freezing cold, then its 2 with the choke, thats y i dont use mine
