Pred. axle/hub question

I stripped my hub on my pred.... I also noticed that the teeth on my axle are worn where they grab the hub. This would mean that i would just keep stripping hubs out. Is it a good idea to weld my hub to my axle. Or is there something else i can do.

Sure. Buy another axle.

It is actually a Team Industries axle. You can get one through them, or there are lots of other aftermarket axles available for the pred now.

so basicly your saying that the axle is junk.......and since the hub is too..... might as well weld them together for something to use for now

What is the warranty on the axle?

polaris warranties the axle bearings and what not but not the hubs as far aas i know. welding it isn't a bad idea for temp. use. aren't the hubs cast though?
