What do you guys think about a LRD pipe for my 400EX. It's either that or CT.

I had a CT slip-on and it was fine but then I got a LRD full system and it was a nice jump in power. I like the way the CT sounded over the LRD but wouldnt go back.

I have a full LRD and love it. My buddy use to have the CT pipe on his 400ex, it was also nice, but did not deliver as much power as the full LRD system.

Is there a big difference in power and is it really loud?

so I should go with LRD. O.K. my local performance guy says that the headpipes crack alot. has this happened to anybody? he recomends Curtis Sparks. but they only make top end pipes and i want something that will give me good all-around power as well as more off the bottom. what do you say?

i have never herd of the headers cracking. but sparks is a very good pipe also.

I know a couple of guys that run LRD full systems and I have never seen or heard of one cracking. Maybe if you get it red hot and run through some water but no problems with mine in the last 18 months.
