Anybody know? 81' Elsinor

I have an 1981 CR125 Elsinor and it ran out of gas and i filled the tank back up and went to start it and the kickstart was stuck and it will not move? any ideas. Blown up or is there some kind of compresion release? just bought it for 500.00 and been riding it but never had to work on it .:confused:

Sounds like it could be?? It wont even turn over at all??? Its not good to run out of gas on a 2 stroke....................What kind of condition is your bike in?? I have been wanting to get an old CR Elsinore!!!

it is in great shape. Runs good or did. and no the kickstart will not move.

Try push starting it to see if the motor will turn over. Then if it wont then there has to be something wrong.

Already tried that so I guess it locked up? Weird didn't make any noise or anything just acted like it was out of gas wich it was???? Is there a compresion valve to release or something?:confused:

running a 2-stroke out of gas is a bad thing... your also running it out of oil :(

when it quit did the back tire lock up?

I'd pull the spark plug, put it in 3rd or so and see if I could get the motor to turn over by pushing the bike..

either way your going to have to dig in and get your hands dirty to either 1-fix the kick start or 2-fix the siezed piston..
