i'm fixing this '92 blaster for a friend of mine and its got realy low compression, if you park it on a slight slope in first it will slowly roll. you can push the kickstart down with your hand very easy.
if its pull started it will fire up and run, it won't idle and there is pretty much no top end power. it was rebuilt not to long ago and i'm thinking whoever did rebuild it didn't know what they were doing. the jetting is pretty close to perfect. it has a fmf fatty and power core 2 silencer and thats pretty much it. I'm pretty much sure it needs a top end job. i just thought i'd ask ya'll before i rip her down.

thanks,
Jordan

Yup. Sounds like it needs to be rebuilt. It's a fairly easy job - good luck.

yeah i did a comkpression test and i got 48psi:eek: like i'm not sure what blasters run but more like 120psi sounds like normal to me. any way i'll update on what i find.

what makes you think its gonig to need crank seals? it was rebuilt
less than 15 hours ago. somone ran it with straight gas in it with no oil in the oil injecter rezzy and blew it up then my friend got it for almost nothnig and had some guy put an new crank, wiseco hot rod, new main bearings and cranks seals, wiseco piston and new V forse reeds. the kit overheated it while breaking it in and thats why the cylinder is scared up and the piston is F'ed. it should all be done by next weekend providing the parts all get here.
