As most of u know i rebuilt my bike.. well tomorrow, i am gettign the shocks, axel, resistor kit , brake lines.. this will complete my rebuild.. however, i have the chain but im gona hve to cut it to fit my bike.. i dont have a chain popper thing..i have to take out some links.. is there any other way to do this? can a bike shop do it?
i hope one of u guys can help me out.. thanks alot

you can do it yourself BUT it will be ALOT easyer to get a chain breaker

easiest way i know to do it is with an algle grinder. grilnd down teh pins where you want it cut at, and take a center punch and pop them out. actually pretty easy to do and i usually do that instead of using a chain press.

Me and my dad use a big hammer and smash one end of the pin, and then put the link over an old socket and knock it out with a punch. Just takes a couple of minutes.
