psssht, those are nothin lol jk

last year me and my bro were checking out my old track back in the back yard and we didnt know the current homeowner had just had a sewer put in a week before and we were driving across the unsettled mud in our new 2005 f150 4x4. Well we went down it and it sucked us in but we gave it hell and got through, we went and looked and then realized we had to go back uphill through the same thing, we got about halfway up when the thing just sunk and kept sinking until it was up to the chassis. We got a chain and a front end loader to finally pull it out but holy cow was my dad mad.....wish i would got a pic

suction stucks are the worst, but you only used 1000lbs. tow straps!!! WOW good thing everyone survived the recovery, especially in mud like that, i would use nothing less than 15,000lbs straps, and chains are never good for mud, its best to use 15,000lbs straps and higher that stretch to give you more pull.

i got my old trx500 stuck in a ditch that i thought wasnt deep and the mud was so sticky it pulled it down more and more

finally got it out after 1 hour of a polaris 500 trying to pull it out

o and it bent up my bumper really bad

Back when i had my tahoe i got it stuck in the mud. I was sitting on the frame and it had a 6" lift on 35" boggers.

not from my experience. they are a great time in most spots, but both teh mud terrains and all terrains suck in mud. mud terrains also dont do so hot in snow either. i know some people swear by em, but i will never own another set of BFG tires if i go off road at all with them.

Yup that's a 1/2 ton chevy trying to pull that large tandem axle through a swamp...note the wall of mud coming off the left front.

He was stuck pretty good. High centered. Was actually in that hole for about 36 hours before we got there to yank him out.

This is the aftermath. This buddy got this large Chevy stuck in the swamp behind my house...in winter. Note the weeds and ice. Those are 37" tires. We had to get a wrecker on this one. The hole was a good 42" deep and his exhaust was under water.

Bfg all terrains work awesome in the sand but you have to air them down to single digit psi to get any where in the mud.

That pic is awsome, thats crazy, going mudding with an enclosed trailer. Is that a trail to some property? Or was he just really bored?

Actually he was trying to get back to a sweet campsite on a river in Michigan. It was Memorial Day last year. His intent was to get up there a day and a half before everybody else and set up camp. He fell a couple hundred feet short of his goal.

We are going to the same place again this year. It's on state land perched above the river on a 15' bank. It's super secluded. That two track is the only way back to the site so nobody can get back there unless they have a 4X4. Makes for a sweet site. We used the big jacked up chevy in my previous post to pull him out. Thank God for the winch!! We actually yanked a tree out of the ground trying to get him out.

Here is a pic of my truck coming through the same area after we got truck and trail out.

It's on the Muskegon River near Leota. Ever ride there?

all this rain in Mass is great... Well, except the ruined homes and evacuations. And the pits are flooded out. I still have no school, wont until at least next week. I went offroading a lil yesterday with my buddy Nick (rider250ex)... My jeep's brown now.

yah, that must be a typo or somethin because the towstrap i have for my 400ex that i carry with me sometimes, is made for atv's and is 8,000lbs

ya a 1000lb strap would snap pulling a jeep down the road.

I ment for it to say 10,000 lb strap not 1,000just to clearify it ive never used straps before so i dnt know if breaking two 10,000lb straps is even a big deal.
