I noticed that my 06 440ex's grab bar is one piece with the frame.
Has anyone found a way to change this, or maybe have some custom fabrications made so that you can interchange the grab bar?

PRM makes a decent looking one for it...it bolts on with U-Bolts...check it out

also i think pappy can custom fab it to make some grabbars bolt right up

I just want to be able to replace it after it gets really scuffed up or even bent. Wheelies will destroy the grab bar as I learn to do them... Practice makes perfect.

Go with the PRM.

I'm not a fan of how the PRM looks with the U. You can make custom mounts and buy a 250r grab bar. pappy will also do it.

no it is not, it bolts on...i put a prm on my 06 450r and one on my wifes 2000 400ex...they make lifting the rear end easier....i feel more balanced when in the mud when lifting it now...

you can buy teh PRM one that bolts on, or if you have some fab skills you can make some mounts that will allow you to use a 250r grab bar or some people use a 300ex bar.
