i need to find a away to get big speakers hooked up to my computer and how am i gonna get a lot of amps going in to those speakers

i am mostly trying to find a amp to hook up to my computer though

What I am gonna do is get a sorrund sound system and get a cable that goes from the computer mono port to the audio cable(red and white) for a tv, I think you can get them at radioshack, that is the only thing I can think to do that would be reletavely easy.:blah:
