The Works Shocks in Rocky Mountain for the 400ex any good. they are like about $370 and im wanting shocks that are pretty good, nothing to expenseve. So u think it wood be good to do.


P.S. I just want pretty good shocks not like elkas.

me too, i gotta get rid of these crappy stockers...they beat the hell outta me on the trails

They're better than stock. Obviously the more you spend for the upgrades the better they are. But, yes they're good stock replacements and will atleast work better than what you have now. Just make sure that you give them all your rider info so they can give you the right setup.

they definetly are "good". they arent a crappy product like a wally world special.


But you cant expect to go out racing a national on them without bending a shock shaft or somthing.

But if you are riding around on stock shocks, works shocks will be way way way smoother ride. Sometimes you can check ebay for used shocks. I bought a set of elka rec series, The cheepest shock elka makes, for 275$. then about 4 months or so later I sold them for 220 I think.

I personally hated my works shocks i had to replace my stock 450r shocks... I would say just go and buy some 450r stockers for like $200 or so, and you should be happy with them and you have comp/reb adjustments too..

i got mine from RM ATV and theyre great.. very plush..


although i would consider 450 shocks or kfx400 shocks, if you could find a "deal"(200 to 250).. then have them changed to a triple rate..
that would better than anything youll find in that price range..
