Video Editing Programs/Advice/Techniques

Okay so I've made a couple videos but now I want to add all the effect's like you guy's have on your video's that you've posted on here. Thing's like slow motion, trimming part's in and out, speeding up the video/slowing it down, etc. What program(s) should I use once I have captured the video and rendered it? I have Video Studio but I don't see very many options for effect's like the one's above. Any info you may have would be appreciated!

i use a program called ShowBiz it came on my computer. its has all the things ur lookin for like slow motion, speedin things up, music editing, text inserts and tons of transitions.
