revalve from GT Thunder or some elka shocks will help :macho

if you want a cheap replacement you can go with some 450R front shocks and gt thunder revalve the rear with his linkage

dont think you can revalve the fronts but the rear can be revalved and resprung like yurik said.

or 05/06 KFX400 shocks.. effectively a dual rate with their "progressive" spring..

I've also read that yfz450 shocks can be used with the same modification as needed to use 450r shocks

Thanks alot this has got me thinking . I was wondering though if you have to modify the linkage on the A-arms to make the shocks fit ?

it sounds like you just have to grind a bit off of the outside of the eye on the top side of the shock. i've seen pics on this forum before, try running a search but it looked really easy to do.

we put my stock 450r shocks on our 400ex, no modifications needed, direct swap for us
