electric start on 250x?

whats needed to put a 300ex starter on a 250x? can it be done

It cannot be done. The is no machined provision into the left side case half for the starter reduction gear shaft, and the 250X case is machined too small around the flywheel to get the starter ring gear into. What's wrong with kick starting your bike? I kinda prefer it that way. At least you know it will always start. I don't know how many times I had to push start my 300ex, becasue stupid arsehole Honda decided not to keep the kickstarter as a backup.
