400ex plastic on a 250X

anyone have pics of what 400ex plastic looks like on a 250X or a 300ex (there both the same setup)..and have an idea of what kind of mods are needed to get it to work...i hate the 250X,300ex plastic and i want a new look...or if anyone knows of any other plastic that will work also. i would love to get some ideas so i know what i can and can't do befor i buy anything

ok...looks great...but what mods are needed to be done?....do i need a 400ex seat.....will the lights wire right up.....i'm looking for more info about how it's done so i know what i need to do??

I have an 02 300ex with 400ex front plastic and stock 300 on the back

you need a 400ex tank cover and cut the hole the fit the 300ex gas cap ,thats easy!:macho then you need to cut the plastic on the sides 2 inches or so to fit around the 300 plastic


the in the front were the stock plastic rests on little rubber things
you have to bend them up vertical and take the rubber things off and put bolts threw the holes in the plastic and metal thing:D

you need the 300 seat if you use 300 back but there is a small gap in between the seat and the plastic but I put foam there so it doesnt look so bad

I have custom lights on mine so i dont know about the lights if they fit or not

It looks great with the 400ex plastic I actually fooled one kid that thaught it was a 400ex He couldnt beleive it was a 300!!!:rolleyes:
