suspenion is the best thing to up-grade to your quad.i would save your money and buy some+2+1 a-arms with some elka shocks.thats a lot more then 500 bucks thou.front shocks are about 1 thousand, and a-arms are about 4 hundred.it's a lot of money but it worth it.u will never want to go back to stock trim after the up-grade.

Not to mention the Elka's are rebuildable. Elka suspension is by far the best on the market. I rode a quad with elkas and there is a night and day difference from stock. If i had money I would have a set on my quad.

for $500 you could do a few things. Get some elka Rec series shocks, they would run right at 500 or a little more and definitally worth it. or you could get used stuff on here. find some a-arms used for avout $200-300 and pick up some used works shocks for about another $200-300. wither way you are getting a great upgrade over stock.
