What footgear do you wear for riding?

Never ride in sneakers thats a big no no... I got bit once and you'll never catch me riding in sneakers again I couldnt walk for 2-3 days....

I wear etines or tenis shoes of some other type!!! I only wear hiking boots when its extremely cold outside!!!

Alpinestars....like everyone else said, you hurt your feet once and you wont go back...plus it is so much easier on your body when you wear actual riding boots when your jumping.

same here.. like others have implied, youll eventually get boots or wished that you had..

i was pinned to a tree in a downhill rollover.. i thought it would just roll over me when i let it go.. instead we both slid(on my back) into a tree and it perfectly trapped a tree between the right side wheels. the peg was pressed hard enough into my ankle that it tore into the thors i had on at the time..

i was trapped with the full weight of the quad on me and one leg immobilized.
glad i wasnt alone..

Alpinestar Tech 8's broke my foot wearing sneekers one time from then on will only ride with real riding boots. And the Tech 8's feel just like wearing sneekers:D


Bought the Thor cheep boots first but after buying a "good" pair of boots I would recomend spending the money on the top of the line ones MUCH better feel!

Yeah I had a pinched nerve in my foot from jumping with jut sneekers.Man was it a pain in the *** it would be fine for days than allof a sudden it would cramp right up it sucked!

I dont know that, thats true my cousin got her leg caught pretty good and she still doesnt wear boots!!! I have hurt my ankle a couple times and I still wear tenis shoes but I guess if and when I break something I will start wearing them!!!!

Only riding boots here. Used to wear Tech 8's, but down graded to tech 6's now that I don't race anymore.:(

alpine stars M4, these are great boots, you don need the techs for atv, those are designed for bikes, cause you are with your foot exposed, there are also one from axo that has 3 belts(?) those are designed for atv also.

it is insane not to ride with boots, you can but if your just at slow speed, for riding, mx, xc or other hard racing its a must. you never know.

i dont get it some times, i was reading the tread about laws, in all quads ther is a stamp that say that you should do ride with protective gear, no alcohol etc.

better be safe.
