Anyone know where I can get my hands on one?
You can't go wrong with a Garmin. They are all over eBay. Or if you don't feel comfortable with eBay, any sporting goods store should have one.

i have a magellan explorist 100. it has a mount on my handlebars and it doesnt fall off. the only complaint i have about it is that it doesnt record you your max speed so if your trying to see how fast your going its a pain....

How do you mount it? Also does the backlight stay on when your riding at night or do you have to hit a button to activate it?

i bought a mount made specially for the gps off of ebay. i do not nightride. i think in preferences there is an option so you can have the light on for a certain amount of seconds when you touch a button or have it on all the time. if you keep it on all the time that would probably drain the batteries faster. if you want pics i can post some. i can also get you the link to the ebay store i got it from. it was $23, $30 shipped. shipping will probably be cheaper for you since you are closer to the distributor
