which slip on or full pipe will give most arm ripping power. and i have all other mods i want for now. so all i need are exaust replys. sorry if this has beens asked b4 but i can find the answer im lookin for.

Not a doubt in my mind the hmf or tc are the best low-end pipes available...

I found that the Big Gun system provides EXTREME bottom end and a decent midrange with only marginal top end increase. The dyno charts I've seen seem to show the same thing. I also get much better than average holeshots. Not trying to talk up the BG but sounds like it may be what you looking for.

sounds like what you have done has moved the power from midrange up. a pipe wont get that power back but more cyl displacement and more compressiom will move it more toward bottom end power. the thing i always see is people get the bigger cams and hiflow exaust and complan about its hard to ride in the woods.

deffinitally look into the BigGun system it gives you mounds of torque. great power all around especally when jetted properly

i would say this one is easy HMF or TC. I have ran several pipes on my 400 and haven't been real pleased with any of them on the bottom end: lrd, sparks, fmf, WB, fat boy 4, duncan double barrel and GT thunder( the last two were on another bike) And i wasn't real impreased the bottom end of any of those. I have a HMF on the way.

now that i have a good set of picks..between tc, bg, and hmf. i know that bg makes a full system but im not for sure about the other 2. if the other 2 do, then slip on or full sys.???? and i also am doing a 416 or 426 with 11:1 in the future. round xmas maybe. so fire away at this!!!!!

tc is not a full system you use stock head pipe and cut like 6" off of it. HMF makes a full system and a slip on> i am ordering a full system. as far as motor call FDO @740-967-1078 and tell him you want the same motor as me, it rips in the woods.

i jus read up on another thread quote " there isnt a better slip-on made." about the tc pipe. does it sound deep even though it is cut off so short??? and no funny sound clips rico.!!:D

Yes the TC is only a Slip-On. You have to cut 5 and 1/2 Inches off your Stock Headpipe. I see you already ground out the Welds so that should help some too. Does it sound Deep? lol. Have you ever heard a Pro Circuit, Sparks, Duncan, LRD or any of those Pipes? Well it sounds just like those it is very Deep.

As for your Motor Tom has a awesome 425 XC Motor he does which is very Simple. I called and told him I hope to build my Motor this Winter and I will be Racing XC so I want some Torque. He told me all he does is put in a 425 Piston, his XC Cam, and his Pipe. All of that is only around $600. That`s all he does and that setup won some GNCC Championship for like 4 years in a Row.

GNCCer, What all is done to your Motor?

i have a stroker sx-1 slip-on its makes good low end power compared to stock and has a nice sound also, isnt real loud though.

when u talk about the dmc are you talking about the slip on or the full system. one of my friends has one and it is pretty loud. and i presume it makes good low end. and would a soft set rear shock take away low end??? someone suggested it since when i mash it (the throttle :devil ) it sets back because of how soft i have it set. besides that im still thinkin bout the tc

I love my Custom T4,it gives me great bottom end. I can bring it up in 4th with ease,and work a lil harder to bring it up in 5th,all i gots is a pipe too.

Anyways,I would recomend the T4.

P>S I know the chain's loose,the air box is gone,and my tires are bald, sooo shadduuuup hehe

i jus got thru puttin 8 dics on my ride nstead of 12. i put a 170mj and took lid off. put my 15T front back on and i got my low end back a little bit. the cam still kicks in good at the beginning of mid. range.

You could call TC and get his XC Cam then you would have rippin low end.

i might but i jus got that wb all around cam like amonth ago!! maybe later. but i plan on the 416 and 11:1 later after those mods would i need a full exaust??? i dunno if stock pipe and wb silencer will cut it after that

Well I bet you could sell the WB for a good Price. If you want a woods 400. Call TC. His Cam and Piston setup will get you up to speed real quick. With a 416 Piston and Cam you don`t need a new Header. TC runs the stock header on 505`s.

i apreciate ur help WarriorMan. i think i might have someone to buy my wb and if i do ima get the tc pipe. and ill prolly get the 416 round xmas or spring. i dunno bout the cam since i jus got mine but ill hafta think about it.

You will like the TC Pipe. If you call Tom about the Pipe he will ask you if you have a Cam or anything because his Pipe works better with Motor Work.
