I've been here a while - back in the black and red days - and wasn't a guy named Ben the webmaster way back when? I remember Leo, but think he came after Ben? Or am I totally screwed up?? LOL!!

Browsed the site for awhile I found it on a internet search in 02 or 03, joined in 04... and I'll probaly be here for a long time....

Anyone remeber the poor kid that was in a wheel chair and he said he broke his leg, then everyone made him write www.exriders.com on his leg and take pictures of it.. Wasnt he like sleeping cat fish or something

I think there have always been underlying issues with this site...it takes a lot of time and work to keep it running properly. Once it started getting popular Leo didnt have enough time to keep it running and handed it over to Ben. Ben was studying to be a Lawyer and only ran the site for about a year and then got too busy himself. Then Harlen took over and has been running it for about 2 years now.

LOL..this site has never been "handed" over to anyone. Leo SOLD it, Ben bought it then SOLD it to Harlen. It has been a business for alot longer then any of the old guys want you to think.

Harlen just has had the business sense to take it much bigger then most thought he would...and its far from its peak:devil:

I've always been curious as to how someone can make a living off of a website . I know there's the " Supporting Members" but that's only like $20 a person for the year and there's advertisers .

I don't want to know the exact numbers of how much the advertisers are paying to be on this site , but is it enough to allow someone to make a website their full time job ???

Just something that's been an interest of mine .

When did this site launch guys?

I spent alot of time at ATVConnection in the beginning but I started using this site more and more because of the racers and the classified section. I've sold a ton of stuff on this site. Had I not deleted my for sale threads I probably would be over 2000 posts.
