250r rad shrouds help

can i get some close up pics on where in the hell to mount the aftermarket rad shrouds for an 86'.i have tried everything but the holes are not lining up.

they should mount up using the same holes that the stock plastic scoops used.

Is it the top mount that is not lining up? 86 R's had top brackets that were not welded to the frame, kinda like sheet metal bent to shape that wraps around the frame. Honda dose not sell these, never did, I've looked for them before for project bikes. Your best bet is to bolt up the lower 2 mounts, then make some brackets out of 1/8 inch steel, and line them up. Next weld them on, drill and tap for 6mm x 1.00mm threads. This is how 87-89's are.

my 87 frame doesnt have the mounts welded to the frame. its got some chrome bracket deal that wraps around the frame

alright,well thanks for the help,i was pretty frustrated until i looked at it and made a bracket
