if $4889 out the door is a decent price on a new '05 400ex? Thanks for the help.

My brother walked out the door with a 05 400 for 4500 and it was a friend who sold it to him. His friend said that they actually lost a little money with that price. So i think 4800 would prob be a pretty good price.

It's a very good OTD price on a brand new unit. MSRP is still $5699 on that quad.

yeah they say that price, but that doesnt include freight, prep, doc fees, etc. They say great prices on the unit but whack you on misc charges that dont exist. I work at a dealer and sell these bikes for a living, so i know all of this.... $4889 OTD is a great price, we sell them for $4999 + tax and title... so I would take that deal

STRAIGHT FROM PROCYCLES -

Sportrax 400EX (2005)
(TRX400EX5)
Procycle Price:
$4120.00*

* NOTE: Price does not include Setup, Freight/Handling or Processing charges.

And if you are in state you pay tax on top of that also, its all a way to get customers in the door, thinking they are getting a great deal, then they go to sign the papers and its $5200 and they explain the charges and you are already there so 9 times out of 10 you still buy

Thanks to everyone that replied. One more shop to check. If they can't beat 4889 then I should own a bike within the next couple of days:D
