does it hurt the motor or clutch when you pop the clutch and go into a wheelie?

not that i would see...but for me to pop and ride a wheelie its much easier to pick it up and ride shifting from 2nd to 3rd...IMHO

no as long as your not dumping the clutch and even then your not gonna be doing much.

i heard that when you guys get it up you shift up with out the clutch because it is easier and i was wondering if that is bad for the transmission? it is easy to get it up by putting it in first gear and then get going and let it coast until it is close to dying and then pin it and lean back

does it hurt the motor when you shift without the clutch while riding a wheelie i have done it and it works but does it hurt the transmission?

not that i know of, i do wheelies all the time, my longest wheelie was like 64 feet:eek:

my longest one is on my sis's 250ex and it was about 100yards ive seen gncc025 ride one on a fourtrax 90 for about an 1/8 of a mile.
