Well, i been waiting on a set of Burgard +3's for my 300ex from Hellbound since February 20th I've been calling hellbound, he told me they're busy making 450 a-arms, and can't get around to setting up the jig for 300ex a-arms Even though i've been waiting for them for damn near 3 months, and it's starting to pizz me off. I already got my works shocks, valved for my weight, +3 XC, and he told me he has +2's and +2+1's in stock. So would the valving be close enough to settle for those, or do i wait longer? My shocks aren't threaded, so i'm not 100% on how do adjust them. Any advice? Thanks!

they will just be a little stiffer

if you are doing MX, you should be fine.

Or tell, HB racing to cancel your order and then get a hold of Pappy, he will get you a set right away.

I don't ride MX though, i do hit the track every now and then, but most of the time, i ride open trails, fields, and recreational stuff. I don't want it to be stiff, i'd like it to be like butter. HB is selling burgards for 400. I might hit up pappy and ask him what he can get them for. If it isn't an incredible amount more, i'd be game.

i didnt read that you are doing XC. Um, either way, they are still going to be valved a little stiffer, because with the wider a arms, there is more wheel travel therefore, needing a stiffer shock. I didnt relize that HB was selling them for 400. tell pappy that, but last time I checked he was selling them for 450.

Um, ya i realize that, that's why i have a set of works triples valved for +3 XC sitting in my garage right now. ;) That was in my first post too. I might give 450 cause i want them asap.

your using triples with a re-locator right? otherwise it isnt going to work right. did you tell works that you were using +3 A arms with triple rates on a 300ex with a relocator, otherwise it wont be set up right.

Why would it not work if he had them set up for the a-arms?

These are 300ex shocks, not 400ex shocks, and i had them set up for +3's. I'm not going long travel. There is no relocator at all.

you dont need a relocator, i run works triples and some 400ex +2 witch = about +3.75 on 300- no relocator
