04 & 05 & 06 ......Parts Interchangeable?

hey everyone, i just bought a brand new 450r today, and first off......I love it! secondly, i have a few questions about parts....

Im curious as to if parts from an 04 & 05, such as exhaust, nerfbars, bumpers, grab bars, air filters, graphic kits.... will that stuff all work for an 06 also? or did they start some different stuff in 06,

when i look at sites online, they only list the parts work for the 04 and 05 450r.... is that just because they havent updated the site to say 06 yet, or is it because they just wont work on the 06?

There are quite a few things that dont interchange. Best thing to do is look up each part specifically.

diff motor, a-arms, shocks, swing arm, hoods, lights,
not alot of the parts are interchangeable, and it sounds like your
going to buy NEW parts for your quad, alot of people had the 04/05 and used some stuff from them but if your buying new
mods it would be smart to double check.

from what you listed grab bar and exhaust for sure will not fit.

damn, a slip on exhaust from an 04 & 05 wont fit the 06 huh?

acctually the slip on may fit, the header pipe comes out at a different angle from 04,05-06.
I think the header pipes end up at the same location.
not 100% sure though.
